On April 26, the column of the Night Wolves motorcycle club opened the motorcycle season with a large-scale parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). Ilya Anikeev, a correspondent for Izvestia, told about this on April 26.

The route of the motorcycle rally ran through the main streets of the capital. From the Bike Center, the participants headed to VDNKh, then to Poklonnaya Gora. A show program and theatrical performances awaited the audience at each stop.

The opening of the season also marked the beginning of the international motorcycle march "Roads of Victory – Flame of Memory". Its participants will travel through Russia and European countries to honor the memory of Soviet soldiers who fought against Nazism.

The parade was attended not only by bikers from the capital and the Moscow region, but also by motorcyclists from other regions of Russia.

Earlier, on July 27, 2024, bikers from the Night Wolves overcame hundreds of kilometers of roads as part of a commemorative event on Pskov land in Izborsk to pay tribute to the defenders of the Motherland who liberated Pskov from the Germans 80 years ago. The event featured a performance by the Pskov Paratroopers orchestra, accompanied by Yulia Chicherina, acrobats, motorcycle stunt shows and dance groups. The program ended with a traditional motorcycle rally.
