Funeral service for Zurab Tsereteli held in Tbilisi

The funeral service of sculptor Zurab Tsereteli was held in the church of the Didubian Pantheon in Tbilisi. The footage is published by Izvestia on April 26.

The funeral ceremony was attended by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze and Speaker of the country's Parliament Shalva Papuashvili.

Tsereteli will be buried in the Didubian Pantheon next to his wife Inessa Andronikashvili.

Muralist, sculptor, President of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli died on April 22 at the age of 92. According to his assistant Sergey Shagulashvili, the sculptor died in his studio at home.
