During the May holidays, Russians will receive pensions according to a special schedule. Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Social Policy, told RIA Novosti about this on April 26.

"For those who receive a pension through a bank: if the usual payment date is from May 1 to May 5, the pension will be issued on April 29-30 or May 5-7, if the usual payment date is from May 6 to May 8, the pension will be issued on the same days (May 8 is a non—working day, so the payment can be postponed), if the usual The payment date is from May 9 to May 11, and the pension will be issued on May 5-7," she said.

At the same time, the conditions will apply to those who receive a pension through the post office. If the standard payment date is May 1-5, then the pension will be accrued on April 29-30 or May 2-3 (if the post office has a six-day schedule). If the usual payment date is May 6-11, the money will arrive on May 5-7 or May 10 with a six-day mail schedule.

Earlier, on April 20, State Duma deputy Svetlana Bessarab said that the next stage of pension increases in the Russian Federation is scheduled for October 1. According to her, military pensioners will receive an increase on this date, its value will be 4.5%.
