The United States is ready to help the formed "coalition of willing" European countries in maintaining peace in Ukraine, but Washington does not say this publicly. This was reported on April 25 by the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.

According to the newspaper, the White House administration has stated that it can provide Britain, France and other allies of Kiev with logistical and intelligence support, adds "Газета.Ru ".

Thus, countries that would like to send troops to Ukraine as part of an alleged peacekeeping effort could ensure compliance with the peace agreement on land, from the air and sea.

It is noted that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has been trying for two weeks to obtain similar guarantees from US President Donald Trump, and now, in a conversation with the newspaper, he made it clear that progress has been made in this dialogue.

On April 24, the British newspaper The Times noted that in the "coalition of the willing," Britain and France had weakened their commitment to sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine. It was clarified that the initiative to deploy peacekeepers in Ukraine belongs to Starmer and French President Emmanuel Macron. Paris and London expressed concerns that Moscow might perceive this initiative as a unilateral measure and reject it.

Prior to that, on April 6, the heads of the general staffs of France, Great Britain and Ukraine discussed the possible deployment of peacekeepers to the territories controlled by Kiev. On March 2, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that discussions in Europe about peacekeepers for Kiev were arrogance, a continuation of Ukraine's incitement against Russia.
