McDonald's has applied to Rospatent for trademark registration in the Russian Federation

McDonald's has submitted an application to Rospatent for registration of the McDonald's trademark, as well as some other branded products. This is evidenced by the data published on the Rospatent website.

It is specified that the application was submitted on December 28, 2024, but it was published only in 2025. Acceptance of the application for consideration began in April of this year.

It is clarified that the company has also sent patent requests for Big Mac, MacAuto and McFlurry. The corporation wants to register a trademark for the production and sale of food and beverages, the provision of restaurant services and food delivery.
