- Lavrov: Russia does not discuss publicly the details of negotiations, as Zelensky does.

The Russian side behaves politely and does not disclose the details of negotiations on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, unlike the leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. This was announced on April 25 by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with CBS News.
"We are really polite people and, unlike some, we never discuss in public what is being discussed in negotiations. Otherwise, they are not serious," Lavrov said in response to a question about whether Moscow was satisfied with the provisions of the agreements that had previously been proposed to resolve the Ukrainian conflict.
Therefore, the minister advised to contact Zelensky if someone wants to get an "opinion on the essence" of the ongoing negotiations.
"He is happy to talk to anyone through the media and sets out his demands even to President [of the United States Donald] Trump," the Russian Foreign minister said.
Lavrov also stressed that Russia is putting forward and considering serious proposals for a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, and negotiations on this issue are continuing.
On April 25, Trump announced that most of the main points of the Ukraine deal had already been agreed. He stressed that he considers it necessary for both sides to hold a meeting at a very high level in order to finalize an agreement.
