The concert on Red Square was removed from the list of events for May 9th


The Cabinet of Ministers has removed the festive concert on Red Square in Moscow from the list of events in honor of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII). The relevant document was published on April 25 on the portal of legal acts.
The order to exclude the concert from the list was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
Thus, changes were made to paragraph 3 of the plan of "Basic measures for the preparation and celebration of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945."
In 2025, May 9 marks the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War. The Victory Anniversary parade will be held on Red Square in Moscow. Many world leaders and official representatives have been invited to the event in the Russian capital. In total, more than 20 heads of state and government are expected to take part in the parade in honor of the 80th anniversary of the Victory.
