An American journalist spoke about the crimes of the Kiev regime in the LPR and DPR

Residents of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) were forcibly detained on the territory of Ukraine and "punished" for attempts to secede. This was stated on April 25 by an American independent journalist, a veteran of the Navy USA Patrick Lancaster in an interview with his colleague Tucker Carlson.

Lancaster has been documenting and covering events in the DPR for many years, his wife was born in Donetsk and now, according to him, her "childhood home" has been destroyed. He added that the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also "killed hundreds of thousands of people," but these crimes are not known in the West.

"Let's talk about the residents of these regions, in particular Donetsk and Lugansk, who over the past 11 years simply wanted to secede from Ukraine. <...> They didn't talk about it in the media," Lancaster said.

He clarified that many Western media outlets cover events in Ukraine in a biased manner, ignoring and concealing the facts. In this regard, according to him, US citizens do not know what is really happening. Lancaster added that Americans would not want to pay their taxes to support Kiev's crimes.

"I mean, of course, the Western media has its own opinion, and, you know, unfortunately, they are trying to hide the facts that I am reporting, they are trying to hide and not report it," the journalist said.

In addition, he called the "idea of Ukraine's victory" a mirage and a narrative promoted by Western countries to justify the funds invested in Kiev. According to him, if Europe and the United States had not financed this conflict, it could have ended three years ago.
