Singer Philip Kirkorov was burned during a concert at the Oktyabrsky Concert Hall as a result of a shirt sleeve fire. The concert director of the artist told Izvestia about this on April 25.
So, during a concert, Kirkorov's jacket sleeve caught fire while climbing on a large hanging microphone. The singer screamed that he was burned. After he came down from the construction, Kirkorov went backstage, changed his image and continued the concert.
The singer's concert director clarified that Kirkorov received a minor burn, adding that at the moment everything is fine with Kirkorov.
"Overcoming the pain, he immediately went out to the audience and performed a block of his hits," Ekaterina Uspenskaya, Kirkorov's press secretary, told Izvestia. She also shared a photo of the performer's burnt shirt.
Kirkorov told reporters on April 7 that he was late for the stage because of the record goal of the Russian forward of the Washington Capitals hockey club Alexander Ovechkin in the regular season of the National Hockey League (NHL). According to the artist, the athlete is a world legend and his great friend.
