On April 26, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the exploits of Russian army soldiers in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

The ministry said that Lieutenant Dmitry Pisarev, together with the personnel entrusted to him, carried out a combat mission to ensure stable and reliable communications in the interests of the battalion tactical group of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

So, a group of signalmen led by Lieutenant Pisarev, having conducted a reconnaissance of the area and determined the position for the deployment of a mobile control point, moved to the combat mission area. During the movement, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched an artillery strike on Pisarev's unit.

Then, under the incessant enemy fire, the lieutenant sent his subordinates to a pre-prepared reserve deployment area, preventing losses among the personnel. There he organized the repair of equipment that had been damaged by artillery explosions, eliminating malfunctions in a short time. Thanks to Pisarev's courageous and professional actions, the command was able to coordinate forces more effectively in battle, which allowed Russian troops to complete the task of capturing important frontiers.

The ministry also reported that Senior Sergeant Anatoly Podmarkov was on combat duty at an observation post in one of the defense areas of the Russian troops. At night, he discovered the movement of an enemy sabotage group in the direction of the positions of the Russian troops.

Podmarkov immediately reported this to the commander and decided to set up an ambush on the route of the militants. So, having secretly moved, the senior sergeant equipped a place for shooting on the enemy's route. When a group of Ukrainian militants found themselves in the firing area, he started shooting at them. The enemy suffered losses, and some of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers fled, abandoning the wounded.

Thanks to the courageous and decisive actions of Senior Sergeant Anatoly Podmarkov, saboteurs were prevented from entering the defense area of the Russian troops and losses among Russian servicemen were prevented.
