A resident of Pskov was detained for stealing chewing gum from a store

A woman who tried to steal chewing gum from a store was detained in Pskov. The theft was prevented by Rosgvardiya employees, the press service of the regional department of the law enforcement agency reports.

The incident occurred on Thursday, April 24. At about 20:00, an alarm signal was received from a hypermarket on Truda Street at the remote control of the department of non-departmental security of the Rosgvardiya.

The crew of the detention group went to the place. In the store, the security forces caught an intruder born in 1982, who tried to commit theft. An investigation is underway into the incident, the Pskov News feed writes.
