Three wanted men have been extradited from Russia to Azerbaijan

Three Azerbaijani citizens who are on the international wanted list have been extradited from Russia to their homeland. This was announced on April 25 by the press service of the Azerbaijani Prosecutor General's Office.
"The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation has satisfied the requests of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan for the extradition of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan Nadirov Goshgar Jabir oglu, Rustamov Rashad Aslan oglu and Mammadov Turala Bahram oglu," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
It is specified that the men are suspected of crimes committed on the territory of Azerbaijan. They evaded the investigation and fled, as a result of which law enforcement officers put them on the international wanted list.
According to the press service of the department, the suspects were found in Russia, then taken to Azerbaijan, accompanied by a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
Earlier, on December 30, 2024, a citizen of the republic was extradited from the Russian Federation to Kazakhstan. He was accused of causing grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of a person. The attacker struck the victim on the head and body because of personal hostility.
