An exploding car in Balashikha began to be evacuated

The car that exploded in Balashikha next to a high-rise building and caused the death of the deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yaroslav Moskalik, began to be evacuated. Footage from the scene is published by Izvestia on April 25.

"Now the car will be taken to a specialized parking lot, then investigative actions will continue with it. Investigators and criminologists are still working with her here," said correspondent Alexey Tselishchev.

Earlier in the day, a car explosion occurred on Nesterov Boulevard in the Aviator district in Balashikha, killing Lieutenant General Moskalik. It was clarified that the cause of the explosion was an improvised explosive device. Investigators have opened a criminal case on this fact.

Later, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova called the murder of a Muscovite a terrorist act.
