Russian judoka Arbuzov won the European Championship in the category up to 81 kg
On April 25, Russian judoka Timur Arbuzov won the gold medal of the European Championships in the weight category up to 81 kg, the tournament is being held in Podgorica, Montenegro.
"In the final meeting, Arbuzov defeated Georgian Tato Grigarishvili, the silver medalist of the Olympic Games in Paris, three—time world champion, with one "skew"!" - stated in the Telegram channel of the Russian Judo Federation.

On April 24, Russian judoka Danil Lavrentiev won the gold medal of the European Championships in the weight category up to 73 kg. The athlete defeated the Italian Lombardo. The bronze medals of the tournament were won by Frenchman Joan-Benjamin Gaba and Azerbaijani Rashid Mammadaliyev.
The competitions are held in Podgorica from April 23 to April 27.
