The journalists of "Evening Moscow" were presented with letters of thanks from the Moscow City Duma

On the eve of the Day of Russian Parliamentarism on Friday, April 25, the Moscow City Duma awarded the journalists of the parliamentary pool. The staff of "Evening Moscow" also received letters of thanks.

The Day of Russian Parliamentarism is celebrated on April 27. Traditionally, on the eve of this date, the Moscow City Duma awards letters of thanks to media staff covering the activities of the capital's parliament.

"There are correspondents, cameramen, sound engineers and other professionals involved in the creative process in the hall today. We honor the best of the best — those who cover the activities of the Moscow City Duma on a daily basis. This is a very difficult job, allowing us to convey to the widest audience the essence of the legislative process," said Alexey Shaposhnikov, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma.

Yulia Tarapata, Deputy Editor-in-Chief and editor of the Moscow Power department of the Vechernyaya Moskva newspaper, received a letter of appreciation for her coverage of federal legislative initiatives of the Moscow City Duma in 2024.

For his long-term contribution to the development of parliamentary journalism and the implementation of important projects and programs of the Moscow City Duma, a long and fruitful partnership was awarded to Georgy Rudnitsky, General Director of the Editorial Office of the newspaper Vechernyaya Moskva.

A letter of thanks for many years of information cooperation and dedication to the capital's parliament was presented to Deputy Editor-in-Chief Yanina Portnova.

Elena Pleshivtseva, director of the Evening Moscow Media Center, was awarded a letter of thanks for popularizing projects and programs implemented by the Moscow City Duma.

Alexey Khoroshilov, Special Correspondent of the Moscow Power department of the Vechernyaya Moskva newspaper, was thanked for his comprehensive coverage of the activities of the Moscow City Duma.
