Another natural monument will appear in the Leningrad region

The Petrovshchinskaya Larch Grove natural monument will be built in the Kirovsky district of the Leningrad Region. This was reported by the press service of the regional Committee for Natural Resources on Friday, April 25.
According to the 78 TV channel, the grove's territory is rich in larches, 150-160 years old, rare plants and limestone. Specialists are already conducting a comprehensive survey of the future protected area.
Over the past 15 years, local schoolchildren have been exploring vegetation and soil in Petrovshchinskaya grove. The materials presented by them will be very important later.
Earlier it was reported that more than 200 km of regional roads will be put in order in the Leningrad region. Among the key facilities is a 21-kilometer section of the St. Petersburg– Sverdlov Plant–Vsevolozhsk highway.
