Illegal alcohol trafficking stopped in Dagestan


In Dagestan, illegal activities were stopped in connection with the illegal trafficking of alcoholic beverages found in a truck. This was reported on April 25 in the press service of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Dagestan.
According to the investigation, a truck driven by a resident of North Ossetia-Alania was detained in the city of Kizlyar. At the same time, 56 boxes of exciseless alcoholic beverages were found and seized during the inspection in an equipped cache.
It is specified that the amount of damage to the state is estimated at 1 million rubles. At the moment, the circumstances of the incident and the persons involved are being established.
It is noted that criminal punishment is provided for under Article 171.1 ("Production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of goods and products without labeling and (or) applying information provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation").
In January, it was reported that a criminal investigation into the sale of counterfeit tobacco and alcohol products had been completed in Khabarovsk. It was noted that the total turnover amounted to about 6.5 million rubles. Over 21,000 packs of cigarettes and 14,000 bottles of alcohol were seized from it.
