The "Victory Echelon" campaign will be held in the Kaliningrad region

The Victory Echelon campaign, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War (WWII), will start in the Kaliningrad Region on April 25. The action was organized by the decision of the Commander of the Baltic Fleet, Vice Admiral Sergei Lipilin, together with the Kaliningrad Railway.
On this day, the train will set off and make stops at Baltiysk, Bagrationovsk, Sovetsk, Polessk, Nesterov, Gusev and Chernyakhovsk stations. The project will be completed on May 4, when the train arrives at the platform of the Kaliningrad North Station.
Concert programs will take place at each station, and train stops will be accompanied by a soundtrack with the legendary voice of announcer Yuri Levitan about the victory over Nazi Germany.
The train included an L-series steam locomotive, platforms with samples of military equipment, and two museum wagons with a mobile exhibit. The train also includes wagons with thematic exhibitions about the Great Patriotic War with interactive platforms "Weapons of Victory", "Property of the Red Army soldier", "Communications center", "Special Department", "Trophy property".
"The Victory Echelon has arrived, which houses exhibits of the Great Patriotic War, an exposition of a special military operation, and our modern equipment. <...> Musical accompaniment is no less important. It's not easy, that's how it was during the Great Patriotic War — these trains ran, lifted the spirits of our soldiers," said Vasily Kucher, head of the House of Officers of the Baltic Fleet.
On April 22, it was reported that the "Victory Train" of the Russian Defense Ministry arrived in the city of Orel as part of the action "Unity in Memory. Strength in a feat!". The train consists of eight carriages with thematic expositions dedicated to the Armed Forces of Russia, the continuity of generations and the feat of heroes defending the Fatherland.
