Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev reached the third round of the Masters clay tournament in Madrid after taking down Serbian athlete Laszlo Djere. The meeting was scheduled to take place on April 25.

The reasons for the Serbian tennis player's decision are not reported.

In the third round, the Russian athlete will play with the winner of the Juan Manuel Serundolo - Felix Auger—Alliassim match.

On April 18, it was reported that Russian tennis player Karen Khachanov beat Spaniard Alejandro Davidovich Fokina and reached the semifinals of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) tournament in Barcelona.
