A cleric of the Belgorod Archdiocese, Priest Nikolai Dubinin, on Friday, April 25, called it a miracle that no one was injured during the attack of the Armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the New Jerusalem temple in the Belgorod region.

"To date, thank God, there are no casualties. And this, of course, is a miracle. Because Father Fyodor (the rector of the church) is there. — Ed.) and the old monks live right on the temple grounds. Thus, they managed to escape somehow. I can't even imagine," Father Nikolai said in an interview with aif.ru .

Yesterday, the representative of the diocese, Fyodor Klyuyko, told Izvestia that the wooden temple complex New Jerusalem caught fire in the Belgorod region after being dropped from an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to him, the Baba Yaga drone dropped mines or something incendiary purposefully on the wooden temple in the village of Sukhorevo.

The wooden complex completely burned down, reports 360.ru .

Vyacheslav Gladkov, the governor of the region, clarified in his Telegram channel that there were no casualties as a result of the attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces drone on the temple complex. He also stressed that the Ukrainian militants had carried out "targeted and planned attacks," IA Regnum reports.
