Between THE HOUSE.The Russian Federation and the Melnichenko Foundation have signed an agreement on cooperation in the field of urban environment development. This was reported by the press service of DOM.RF.

The agreement on the joint development of master plans for industrial cities and agglomerations was signed at the National Center "Russia" by the Director of Urban Environment Development HOUSE.Russian Federation Anton Finogenov and Tatiana Zhuravleva, CEO of the Melnichenko Foundation.

"The development of industrial cities is one of the most difficult tasks that requires an integrated approach. At the head of this process is a master plan aimed at retaining and attracting human capital, as well as developing small and medium-sized businesses. We are pleased to welcome the initiatives of such large and responsible corporations as the Melnichenko Foundation, which are ready to systematically work on the development of territories within the framework of the strategic document," commented Anton Finogenov.

Specialists of the HOUSE.The Russian Federation and the Melnichenko Foundation will jointly work on technical tasks for the development of master plans, jointly participate in working groups, strategic sessions and meetings, as well as conduct expert evaluation of interim projects and final master plans.

"The Melnichenko Foundation is currently preparing strategies for the development of small towns in more than 10 regions of Russia, including through the development of master plans. After the signing of the agreement, a discussion on the topic "Space of Opportunity: a new life for small industrial cities" took place within the framework of the architectural exhibition "The Birth of Scale".
