A Construction cluster will be created in Khabarovsk on the basis of the Khabarovsk Industrial and Economic College. The region has won a grant for the creation and development of educational and production centers in the framework of a competition of the Ministry of Education among institutions of secondary vocational education. The event is held under the federal project "Professionalism" of the national project "Youth and Children".

According to IA AmurMedia, the Khabarovsk Territory will be allocated 100 million rubles in 2026 to create a cluster. The funds from the federal grant will be used to purchase equipment and create new work areas. The enterprises of the construction industry, in turn, will allocate about 33 million rubles more, the regional Ministry of Education and Science reported.

Khabarovsk Technical College, Khabarovsk Technical College of Urban Infrastructure and Industrial Production, as well as a construction college in Komsomolsk-on-Amur will become network educational partners.

The relevant department noted that the Khabarovsk Territory demonstrates high dynamics in the development of educational infrastructure and personnel training for the real sector of the economy. The Professionalism project is already having tangible results, providing enterprises with qualified specialists.

The governor's press service recalled that more than 2,000 enterprises have already invested about 6 billion rubles in the project. It was possible to modernize 370 colleges in 79 regions. There are five clusters operating in the Khabarovsk Territory. These are "Mechanical Engineering", "Railway transport", "Pedagogy", "Water transport" and "Tourism and Services". The Shipbuilding cluster is scheduled to open this year.

Earlier it was reported that in the Khabarovsk Territory in 2025, 14 local enterprises will receive free support to increase labor productivity. Experts from the federal and regional competence centers will help optimize processes and train employees in lean manufacturing technologies.
