Road repairs in Transbaikalia will be carried out with the involvement of mobile factories

In Transbaikalia, road repairs will be carried out using mobile asphalt plants. Such complexes are needed in several districts. This was announced by the regional Deputy Minister of Road Management and Transport Sergey Krivoshchekov.

According to him, quoted by ChitaMedia news agency, the issue is being worked out with large contractors. It is planned that they will join the road repair with their asphalt plants and crushing complexes.

Similar plants are needed in Shelopuginsky, Gazimuro-Zavodsky and Nerchinsk-Zavodsky districts.

Earlier it was reported that a 13 km section of the Baikal federal highway R-258 will be overhauled in the Trans-Baikal Territory. The work will take place on the segment from 873rd to 886th km, next to the tourist destination — Lake Ares. The decision to repair was made after a thorough assessment of the road's transport condition based on the results of an annual diagnostic. The authorities also took into account numerous complaints from drivers about poor coverage.
