Russian Prosecutor General Igor Krasnov laid flowers at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden in Moscow. This was announced on April 25 on the website of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.
"Igor Krasnov laid flowers at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden," the ministry said in a statement.
In addition, he also honored the memory of those who died in the Great Patriotic War (WWII) with a minute of silence.
It is specified that the ceremony was attended by Deputy Prosecutors General, heads of departments of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Main Military Prosecutor's Office, prosecutors of Moscow and the Moscow region.
In January, Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian laid a wreath of scarlet roses and white lilies at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier. He also paid tribute to the memory of the fallen soldiers with a minute of silence.
