Improper nutrition increases the risk of serious diseases and triggers accelerated aging of the body. Andrey Martyushev-Poklad, a market expert at the National Technology Initiative "Helsnet", Candidate of Medical Sciences, told us which products will support the health of the body.
"For our body, nutrition is not just a source of energy, but a set of signals that control many processes. If enough vital substances are supplied, then the body is in longevity mode, if there are not enough of them, it goes into survival mode. Foods should be rich in micronutrients," the doctor explained.
The first lines of the list of foods with the highest micronutrient content are occupied by animal by-products: liver, heart, spleen. Next come small fish, seafood, and crustaceans. Behind them are different types of meat. In particular, goat meat and beef.
The expert stressed that you should not forget about vegetables. It is worth eating dark green leafy vegetables like kale or spinach. It should be remembered that plants are always inferior in the content of high-quality protein and fat-soluble vitamins, minerals from plants are also digested much worse. It is optimal to combine whole animal products with vegetables.
