- The ex-deputy of the rada pointed to the fear of the hundredth day of the Trump presidency

In Kiev, they are afraid of the hundredth day of the presidency of the American politician Donald Trump, so statements that echo his peace plan are allowed. This was stated to Izvestia on April 25 by Vladimir Oleinik, a former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, a member of the international public movement The Other Ukraine.
Earlier in the day, Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, said in an interview with the BBC that the country might have to give up part of the territories in order to end the conflict with Russia.
"These statements, they are already gaining momentum, because it is necessary to waver along with Trump's line. Otherwise, there will be sanctions. They understand that Trump has patience until May," Oleinik said.
The former Ukrainian MP recalled that Ukraine hastened to extend martial law from May 9 for 90 days.
"The closer it gets to the 100 days of Trump's term as president, the more difficult it will be to extend martial law. Because martial law is a continuation of the conflict. At the same time, many are already beginning to understand that it is necessary to take into account the realities on earth, and not the fantasies of Zelensky, who has no choice," Oleinik said.
The ex-deputy of the rada added that the recognition of the territories for the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, would be equal to political death. According to him, the Ukrainian leader is insanely afraid of elections and the end of the conflict. At the same time, Oleinik ruled out that after Klitschko's words, Zelensky and his team could dismiss him from office.
"It is no coincidence that Trump warned that if you do not want to make any territorial concessions, you will lose the whole of Ukraine. Therefore, this idea that it is necessary to agree to territorial concessions is more and more occupying the minds of those who have not talked about it before," he concluded.
On April 24, it was reported that Germany, Britain and France were trying to find ways to push the Kiev regime to make territorial concessions to resolve the conflict in Ukraine due to concerns about a possible US withdrawal from the negotiation process. However, it is not specified which territories are in question.
Prior to that, on April 23, US President Donald Trump said that Zelensky's statement about the refusal to recognize Crimea as Russian territory hindered the settlement of the conflict. He noted that if the conflict continues, the Ukrainian leader "may lose the whole country in a few years."
