- Mishustin urged the Federal Antimonopoly Service to monitor prices for railway and air tickets during the holiday season

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has called on the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) to carefully monitor railway and airline ticket prices during the holiday season. He made the corresponding statement during a meeting with the head of the department, Maxim Shaskolsky, on April 25.
The Prime Minister noted that in the summer, tariff regulation of prices for air tickets and train tickets is extremely important for citizens.
"The main thing is the result, so that people have the opportunity to relax and purchase a train ticket or an air ticket for reasonable money," he stressed.
On March 17, the FAS press service reported that the agency will establish a year-round discount for children from 10 to 18 years old on long-distance trains, regardless of the form of education, without presenting a certificate from an educational institution. On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation, the service has developed relevant draft orders.
