The Ministry of Internal Affairs will check the data on the attack of the ex-Minister of Trade of the Moscow region on the ex-girlfriend

The police organized an inspection after the hospitalization of a 30-year-old woman with injuries in the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region. This was announced on April 25 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

In turn, the founder of the Van Tea tea house, Yulia Wang, on her Instagram page (owned by Meta, her activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation), accused her former lover, ex-Minister of Trade of the Moscow region Mikhail Khubutia, of attacking her with an axe.

"An attempted murder was committed on me last night. <...> Mikhail Khubutia broke into my house with an axe, cut my limbs, beat me on the head," the woman said, adding that her daughter and nanny were sleeping in the next room at that time.

Wang noted that she was in a relationship with the former Minister of Trade of the Moscow region from 2018 to 2024. Hubutia regularly threatened her, the woman emphasized in an interview with Izvestia.

"I'm in the hospital. I've had cuts, abrasions, fractures, and bruises stitched up. I lost a lot of blood yesterday. It's all at home. All photos and videos are available," she said.

The ex-minister, commenting on the situation to Izvestia, called the accusations nonsense, stressing that he was not in Moscow.

"Currently, the police are checking on this fact. Based on the results, a decision will be made in accordance with the procedure provided for by law," the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Moscow region says.

Earlier, on April 12, it was reported that actress Alexandra Drozdova attacked her roommate, actor of the Lensovet Theater Ilya Del, with a knife, who was later taken to a medical facility in moderate condition. A criminal case was opened against Drozdova. Later, the actress was placed under house arrest until May 11.
