Alikhan Mezhiyev, an accomplice of the perpetrators of the terrorist attack on Dubrovka, was released after 22 years of serving his sentence in a penal colony. This was reported on April 25 by law enforcement agencies.
"Alikhan Mezhiev was released on October 28, 2024, having fully served his sentence," RIA Novosti was told.
It is specified that the punishment was calculated from November 2002.
