Serbian President Alexander Vucic, on the air of TV Informer, proposed holding a summit in Belgrade with the participation of Russian and American leaders Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, as well as other heads of state.

"I will seek support from both Donald Trump Jr. and Donald Trump Sr., as well as from President Putin. I have an idea to organize a large global forum on various topics in Belgrade next year," Blic quoted him as saying on April 24.

Vucic said that the summit is scheduled for March 2026. He stressed that Belgrade is the only place capable of bringing together Putin, Trump, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Giorgio Meloni, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz and other world leaders.

The Serbian president added that to organize this summit, it would be necessary to obtain the consent of the heads of state.

On April 18, Vucic said he hoped to hold talks with Putin on May 9 in Moscow. As the head of state pointed out, the discussions will be devoted to everything, including gas and oil.
