The health condition of former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has deteriorated after intestinal surgery. This is reported by the bulletin of the DF Star hospital dated April 24, published on Bolsonaro's page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

"Bolsonaro remains hospitalized in the intensive care unit after surgery. He had a clinical deterioration, an increase in blood pressure and a deterioration in liver laboratory tests," the statement said.

It is noted that in the near future, doctors plan to conduct additional diagnostic tests.

Bolsonaro was hospitalized on April 11 during a meeting in the municipality of Rio Grande after feeling abdominal pain. According to media reports, on April 13, Bolsonaro, who suffers from intestinal obstruction, underwent surgery to release intestinal adhesions and reconstruct the abdominal wall.
