A woman died in an accident in Irkutsk.


In Irkutsk, a tanker truck driver ran over an 84-year-old woman, killing her. This was announced on Friday, April 25, by the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
According to the agency, the incident occurred at 9:22 a.m. local time (4:22 a.m. Moscow time) on Partizanskaya Street.
"According to reports, a 55-year—old tanker truck driver ran over a woman born in 1941 who was crossing the road in an unregulated pedestrian crossing area. <...> Previously, she got into the so-called "blind spot," the Telegram channel said in a statement.
It is specified that the woman died from injuries sustained as a result of the accident. Currently, police officers are working at the scene of the accident, a legal decision will be made after the inspection.
In Ufa, on April 24, as a result of a collision between two motorcycles and a fire truck, one person was killed. It was clarified that one of the motorcyclists died at the scene from his injuries, and the second was taken to a medical facility for assistance.
