The taikonauts of the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft entered the Chinese space station after docking.

The Shenzhou-20 manned spacecraft successfully docked, after which the taikonauts entered the Chinese space station. This was announced on April 25 by the Office of the Manned Space Flight Program of the People's Republic of China (CMSE).

The ministry clarified that on April 25 at 01:27 Beijing time (April 24 at 20:27 Moscow time) Three taikonauts entered the main module of the Tianhe, where they were met by the team of the previous launch, carried out on October 30, 2024.

"After that, the two crews will take turns orbiting the space station. During this period, the six taikonauts will work and live together on the space station for about five days, completing various assigned tasks," the CMSE added.

The launch of the Shenzhou-20 spacecraft with three taikonauts on board became known on April 24. The crew includes Chen Dong (commander), Chen Zhongrui and Wang Jie. The team will work in the orbital laboratory until October.
