- Trump commented on the possible withdrawal of the United States from negotiations on Ukraine

On April 24, American leader Donald Trump expressed confidence that the United States would not withdraw from negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, as a deal would be concluded. At the same time, he suggested asking again about Washington's possible abandonment of peace efforts in two weeks.
"I think we'll make a deal. And if we do that, it will be great, we won't have to worry about your question. You can ask him in two weeks," Trump said at a meeting with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Harrer at the White House.
This is how the American president answered the question about the prospects for the US withdrawal from the negotiations.
On April 23, Trump drew attention to the fact that the United States is experiencing more difficulties in negotiations with Ukraine than with Russia. He also admitted that it is much more difficult for him to deal with the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, than he initially expected.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 24 that Russia appreciates the mediation services provided by Trump and his administration in the negotiation process on the Ukrainian conflict. Russian President Vladimir Putin stands for achieving peace while ensuring the interests of the country, Peskov added.
