The US State Department rejected the claims of the Kiev regime that Washington allegedly asks more from Kiev than from Moscow as part of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on April 24 by State Department spokeswoman Tammy Bruce at a briefing.

"I think this is a very unfair (question statement. — Ed.)," she replied to a question about whether the United States is asking Ukraine for more than Russia to resolve the conflict.

On April 23, US President Donald Trump, answering questions from reporters at the White House, said that the United States was experiencing more difficulties in negotiations with Ukraine than with Russia. He also admitted that it is much more difficult for him to deal with the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, than he initially expected.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on April 24 that Russia appreciates the mediation services provided by Trump and his administration in the negotiation process on the Ukrainian conflict. Russian President Vladimir Putin stands for achieving peace while ensuring the interests of the country, Peskov added.
