The Russian Defense Ministry told about the exploits of the Russian Armed Forces in the special operation zone

On April 25, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the exploits of Russian servicemen during a special military operation.

According to the agency, Corporal Anton Tanichev discovered a sabotage and reconnaissance group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), secretly moving in the direction of the Russian troops. He immediately informed the command of the approaching enemy, took up an advantageous position and was one of the first to engage the enemy sabotage reconnaissance group.

At the same time, a fighter of the Russian army, being under constant fire and attacks by enemy quadrocopters with drop systems, conducted targeted small arms fire, while simultaneously transmitting coordinates to the mortar crew about the movements of Ukrainian militants. This made it possible to prevent the further advance of the enemy, who suffered losses and retreated.

However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to destroy Tanichev's firing point using an FPV drone. Having discovered the enemy's quadcopter, the corporal destroyed it with well-aimed shots on approach to the position.

The department also stated that the unit, which included Private Vladimir Lebedikov, was tasked with defending one of the most likely areas of the enemy's offensive.

A Russian serviceman, while at an observation post, discovered a Ukrainian kamikaze drone that was approaching the positions of the Russian army. The private was given the task of destroying the enemy's UAV, after which he opened aimed small arms fire at the quadcopter. Thus, the enemy drone was hit and detonated in the air, without causing damage to the personnel and fortifications of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
