India will not cancel long-term visas issued to Pakistani citizens who practice Hinduism. This was announced by the country's Foreign Ministry on April 24.

The agency has published an addendum to the Indian government's decision on April 24 to suspend the issuance of visas to Pakistani citizens.

"It is hereby clarified that the cancellation of visas specified in the above decision does not apply to long—term visas (LTVs) already issued to Pakistani Hindu citizens, which remain valid," the statement said.

Earlier in the day, India announced the suspension of the issuance of visas for Pakistani citizens. In addition, they were ordered to leave the country by April 27.

This decision is related to the terrorist attack that took place on April 22. A group of terrorists attacked civilians and tourists in the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam in southern Kashmir. As a result, 27 people were killed, including foreigners, women and the elderly.
