The number of public advisers in Moscow has increased by more than 10% since the beginning of the year and exceeded 35 thousand, said Marina Prozorova, deputy head of the Moscow Department of Territorial Executive Authorities.

"Public advisers are caring residents of all districts of the capital. They help in solving various local issues, communicate directly with city councils and promote socially significant initiatives. The constant growth of the community demonstrates the high level of involvement of citizens in the development of our city," Prozorova said at a meeting of the district Council of Public Advisers of the Northern Administrative District.

The Institute of Public Advisers has been in existence for more than 10 years. They implement various projects, conduct creative workshops, sports classes, group tours and do charity work, for example, collect humanitarian aid.

In 2020, public advisers implemented the "Videos" project in the Begovy district. As part of the initiative, paintings were shot telling about people's lives during the Great Patriotic War. These materials are used for educational purposes, in particular, they are demonstrated in schools and libraries.

Another example is the "Home Gardener" project, which is being implemented in the Airport area. Participants offer ideas for landscaping adjacent spaces and participate in competitions.
