A man who committed a murder 25 years ago was arrested in Moscow.

A 46-year-old man has been detained in Moscow in connection with the murder of a 30-year-old woman in 2000. This was announced on April 24 by the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's office.

"During the operational measures, it was established that one of the defendants died, the second was detained," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

According to investigators, the suspects killed the woman because of a personal conflict, and then tried to fake suicide by throwing the body out the window. The murder took place in November 2000 on Chelyabinskaya Street in the east of Moscow.

It is specified that the arrested man had previously been convicted.
