India is considering withdrawing from the ceasefire agreement with Pakistan. This was reported by the News18 TV channel, citing senior government sources.

"After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India may announce a ceasefire in the coming days. New Delhi is seriously considering this issue, as Pakistan has failed to fulfill its obligations on the line of control and the international border," the statement said.

According to the TV channel, India is considering tough measures in connection with Pakistan's inability to "curb terrorism" and protect borders. Such a move could further isolate the neighboring country, the newspaper notes.

In addition, according to sources, India has every right to protect the borders and the population of the country with such measures.

Earlier in the day, the Indian government announced the suspension of issuing visas to Pakistani citizens. In addition, they must leave the country before April 27.

This decision is related to the terrorist attack that took place on April 22. A group of terrorists attacked civilians and tourists in the Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam in southern Kashmir. As a result, 27 people were killed, including foreigners, women and the elderly.
