Gas supply has been restored in most settlements of the Kirzhachsky district of the Vladimir region, where the detonation of ammunition occurred. This was announced on April 24 by the governor of the region, Alexander Avdeev.
According to him, because of the explosions, the gas supply to 42 settlements, where more than 4 thousand people live, was stopped.
"As of this hour <...> repairs have been carried out and gas supply to 38 settlements has been resumed for 3,734 subscribers," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
The detonation of ammunition occurred on April 22 as a result of a fire on the territory of a military unit, the Russian Defense Ministry said. The cause of the fire was called a violation of safety requirements when working with explosive materials.
Later it became known that four people were injured due to the incident, three of them were hospitalized. On April 23, Avdeev reported that the situation in the Kirzhachsky district was gradually stabilizing.
