A suspect in the murder of a policeman in Kingisepp, Leningrad region, has been detained. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Irina Volk in her Telegram channel.

"The attacker was detained in the forest area of the Slantsevsky district of the Leningrad region, where he hid from law enforcement officers for several hours," the report says.

It is specified that the suspect turned out to be a 19-year-old native of the city of Slantsy in the Leningrad region.
