US President Donald Trump has called Harvard University a "threat to democracy" and accused its leadership of "liberal disorder." This was reported on April 24 by ABC News.

"Harvard is an anti—Semitic, far-left educational institution, like many others, which accepts students from all over the world who want to tear our country apart. This place is a liberal mess where a certain group of crazy lunatics are allowed to enter and leave the classroom and spew fake anger and hatred. It's really terrible," the newspaper quoted Trump as saying.

The president's comments came after the Harvard leadership once again ignored the Trump administration's demands on the educational institution.

The Wall Street Journal newspaper wrote on April 20 that the Trump administration intends to deprive Harvard University of another $ 1 billion due to its refusal to change the internal policy of the educational institution.

Prior to that, on April 14, the task force of the Department for Combating anti-Semitism stated that the US Department of Education announced the freezing of grants for Harvard University in the amount of $ 2.2 billion due to the refusal of the educational institution to comply with the instructions of the American leader.
