Yulia Mosyazh, a resident of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR), who sheltered two soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in her apartment, will be tried for high treason. This was announced on April 24 by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation.

"According to the investigation, from March 2022 to December 2023, Mosyazh voluntarily hid two servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in her apartment from the Russian authorities," the Prosecutor General's Office said on its website.

It is specified that the prosecutor's office of the LPR approved the indictment in the criminal case against Mosyazh. She is charged under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("High treason"), adds "Газета.Ru ".

According to the Prosecutor General's Office, in December 2023, Mosyazh, acting on instructions from a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, provided them with communications equipment and fictitious medical documents necessary to travel to the country under the guise of patients. However, they were detained while trying to leave the territory of the Russian Federation.

Earlier that day, in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), a court sentenced a 53-year-old resident in a criminal case of high treason. It is specified that from July 2022 to January 2024, Voronina reported on the locations of individual units of Russian military units in the Novoazovsky district of the DPR.
