Six new outdoor venues have been opened in the Moskino film Park — their total area exceeds 70 thousand square meters, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina.

The sets were built to work on specific films and TV series, and then became available to all film crews. "The locations include neighborhoods of the Far Eastern city, medieval princely chambers, the house of Santa Claus and other interiors. The audience will see the first films shot here this year," the vice mayor noted.

Among the venues is the Brest Fortress, which was built for filming a project based on Boris Vasiliev's novel "Not on the list." According to archival drawings and photographs, it was possible to recreate the Church of St. Casimir, the Terespol Gate, and the barracks buildings.

Another new location is the Prince Andrew's Chambers, where the architecture of the 12th century with carved columns and painted temples has been recreated. The series "Prince Andrew" about the life of Yuri Dolgoruky's son was filmed in the scenery.

The drama "Breed" by Sergey Zhigunov was filmed at the new site "Yuzovka" (as Donetsk used to be called). She tells about the history of Donbass through a story about the life of a simple mining family. The action takes place in Donetsk in 1924. On the set, pre-revolutionary buildings are juxtaposed with village houses, dug-up garden beds and coal mine elevators. Filming was also carried out at the sites of the "Line of Defense" and "Moscow of the 1940s".

For the film "Pinocchio", several streets of a provincial European city were built in the film park. There are houses, a square with a fountain, a school and a puppet theater of Karabas-Barabas on wheels.

In total, 24 full—scale venues have been opened in the film park, including Moscow Cathedral Square, Vitebsk Railway Station and Yurovo Airport. It is part of the Moscow Film Cluster, where about 120 projects were shot last year.
