A recall of more than 47 thousand Lada cars has been announced

The Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) announced the recall of 22,731 Lada Vesta vehicles and 24,408 Lada Largus vehicles sold between October 2021 and August 2023. The corresponding notification was posted on April 24 on the official website of the department.
According to Rosstandart, the reason for the recall campaign was the absence of an emergency call system control unit on these machines.
AvtoVAZ noted that the company fulfills its obligations to customers and invites the owners of Vest and Largus to retrofit cars with appropriate control units for the ERA-GLONASS emergency call system.
"Invitations will be sent to owners of Lada Vesta and Lada Largus cars produced from October 2021 to April 2022. The cars will have an ERA-GLONASS unit with an automatic call function. The system was manufactured and supplied by the Russian company Itelma. All work will be carried out free of charge at Lada dealerships," the press service of the Russian automaker said.
Earlier it became known that AvtoVAZ will hold an international conference of export partners in Dubai, where it will present key areas of development of the Lada brand in foreign markets.
