Crews of the army aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS) destroyed armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on April 24 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"The strike group of the army aviation of the Aerospace Forces, consisting of the Ka-52M Alligator reconnaissance and attack helicopter, the Mi-28NM Night Hunter attack helicopter and the Mi-8 multipurpose helicopter, destroyed armored vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of responsibility of the Center group of forces," the ministry said.

It is specified that the strike was carried out by C-8 aircraft missiles at specified coordinates. After that, the crews carried out an anti-missile maneuver using an on-board defense system and returned to the airfield.
