Owners of cars wrecked in an accident will be able to evaluate them before selling

Owners of cars damaged in an accident had the opportunity to assess the value of such a car before selling. This was reported to Izvestia on April 24 by Migtorg (an online car auction site). Previously, this service was available only to sellers-legal entities.
Car search engines do not evaluate damaged vehicles. Because of this, it is not uncommon for buyers of such cars to charge amounts for them that are much lower than the actual cost of the damaged car. The site offers a solution to the problem by giving motorists the opportunity to sell their car after an accident at an adequate price with maximum benefit, the company said.
According to Alexander Korotkov, CEO of the Migtorg project, when selling broken cars, their owners often encounter fraudsters and unscrupulous buyers who are trying to unreasonably bring down the price.
"With an initial cost of 4 million rubles, fraudsters can reduce the price by almost half, using pressure on the seller. Our platform protects people from such situations by ensuring transparency of transactions," he stressed.
Earlier it became known that 242 road accidents occurred on Russian roads over the past day, in which 23 people were killed and 304 injured.
