Planes started flying from Krasnoyarsk to Sharm el-Sheikh again

A direct flight from Krasnoyarsk to Sharm el-Sheikh has been re-launched after a three-year hiatus. There have been no flights in this direction since March 2022, the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Customs reported on Thursday, April 24.
Air service is provided by Red Wings Airline. The first flight took off on April 19. 349 people have already left for the popular Egyptian resort, who took about 3 tons of luggage with them. The next flight is scheduled for April 29 and May 10.
According to KrasnoyarskMedia news agency, the resumption of the route has become part of the general trend towards an increase in international flights. Thus, in the first quarter of 2025, Russians flew abroad 10% more often than in the same period a year earlier. The total passenger traffic increased by 10%.
Earlier it was reported that direct flights from Krasnoyarsk to Nha Trang, Vietnam, will resume this spring. The flights will be operated on AZUR air aircraft.
