A program for the reconstruction of emergency departments and the construction of flagship urban hospital centers has been completed in Moscow. Today, the last of them received the first patients at the hospital named after Buyanova, said the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

The center at the hospital named after Buyanova is designed to receive up to 200 patients per day. It has 9 operating rooms with the latest equipment, a separate checkpoint for receiving ambulances and a helipad.

"The flagship center will become the high—tech heart of the hospital, whose resources allow us to expand the range of surgical care for patients and provide it at a qualitatively new level," the mayor of Moscow emphasized in his Telegram channel.

In total, six flagship centers have been established under the program since 2023. During this time, they have received more than 566 thousand patients. These are full-fledged medical buildings where patients receive the necessary care in the first hours after admission. The task of the flagship centers is to provide the highest quality emergency medical care.
